Since the new lego store opened nearby, Sam rediscovered building legos. This is the newest.

Checking out the new Lego store

Sam decided that he wanted to go to the mall to check out the new Lego store for his birthday. So, we took a few friends and went to the mall and to see Terminator. It was fun! Eric didn't want to have a party, so he went fishing with Tim instead. We also stopped at Brookstone to try out the foot massagers. It was hard to leave this place!

My sweet boys turn 12

Wow, another year older! Eric wanted cheesecake and Sam wanted yellow cake with chocolate icing. We always have two cakes on their birthday. Eric didn't want to have a party, but Sam did. So, Tim took Eric fishing while I took Sam and some friends to the Mall and to a movie. What fun!

Coloring Mandalas

I went fishing with Eric again today, and this time I brought along Mandalas to color. I really love doing this. So peaceful and meditative too!

Weird Cake

I helped Sam bake a cake tonight, and this is what it ended up looking like-strange! We have no idea what we did different, but oh well! It still tasted good.

Boy did I miss you

Eric couldn't wait to get back home to Casper. What a sweetie!

On a bicycle built for two

We had an absolute blast on the tandems that we rented. They had bells to ring on the front and the back, so we rang and rang while zooming up and down the street. I think it might have been the highlight of the trip!

The family toes

I wanted to get a picture of all of our feet on the sand. Sam and Eric and Tim thought it was a bit odd, but they agreed to do it for me. Poor Tim's tootsies are the ones with bandaids, as his flips were rubbing his feet. Ow.

Fishing Charter

We took a 4 hour fishing charter that was so very cool! Eric is really into fishing right now, so it was really nice to be able to go out on a boat with someone that knows where the fish are.

Cool Cloud

On our way back from Universal Studios we saw this cloud that looked like an alligator? Part of Mickey Mouse? 3 fingers? So many things.

Hanging with new friends and Shrek too

Sam and I met up with some new unschooling friends at Universal. While we waited for them to arrive, we hung out with Shrek.

Drumming on the beach

Every Sunday night at sunset there is a huge drumming circle. It is so much fun, and sounds so beautiful! There was lots of dancing, hula hooping, kids running around, and just an overall great feeling of peace!
