80's Music

This is the reaction I got when I turned on the 80's station in the car on the way to the Museum Center. Eric and Sam were making up funny dances! I'm positive they weren't making fun of the music from my younger years! Ha!

Eric loves to fish, so even though it was cold today, we bundled up and went out for awhile. He ended up catching a big bass. As always, we catch and release.

Owen had just given Casper one of his famous licks on the head! They are still figuring out their new friendship, but overall things are great with them. Owen is a bit jealous I think, even though we try to give him extra attention now that we have a new family member.

Casper loves being up high. Here he is next to my desk on top of a bunch of stuff.

Playing Halo

We have two X-Boxes in the house so that Eric and Sam can both play full screen at the same time. They both decided this was what they wanted to do, so they each contributed most of the money to buy them. They were on XBox Live playing with some other unschoolers, and they were laughing so hard and having so much fun! I love hearing them laugh and have so much fun!

Full Moon

I couldn't resist going outside tonight to just stand and stare at the moon. It was so peaceful and beautiful!

Keyboard (by Sam)

Eric has been playing around on the piano lately, and he remembered that we also have a keyboard. He has been teaching himself to play some of the song FurElise. We have all been having fun playing around on the keyboard.

Owen was waiting patiently while acting like he doesn't see Casper. Unfortunately for Owen, Casper has not acquired Owen's trick of opening the door. Yes, Owen knows how to slide the door open. He is quite the talented doggy.

Passionate about Quotes

I really love quotes! The front of the refrigerator is full of them, and I collect them! Here is a glance at the front of the fridge. The good thing is, when we have visitors, my quotes are always a conversation piece!

Candy

Eric asked for some dum dum's the other day, so we went out and bought two packages. We also love M&M's so we got a bunch of those as well. Candy isn't really a big deal at our house anymore because we all know that we can get candy whenever we want to.

A few years ago, Sam and Eric had a small part in a commercial. You can view it here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWMrnmdi5Ac Sam recently decided that he wants to try to be in more commercials, so we had to get his picture taken. While we were there, I took some of Eric while we watched Sam. Eric said he definitely does not want to be in another commercial. There was a lot of sitting around and waiting, which he did not like.

Muskrat

We went to the park today to have Sam's picture taken, and on our way we saw this furry little critter, a muskrat. He was very docile, I think he just came out to get a bite to eat.

Hello down there!

After being mesmerized by the fish for awhile, Casper has moved on....to the guinea pig's cage. Good thing we bought a lid for it!

Buddies already

I wasn't sure how Owen would be with the new kitty in the house, but so far, so good. They are friends! Owen likes to lick Casper while Casper stands underneath him with his head up towards Owen's face. I think Casper is the only one who enjoys Owen's licks!

Kitty food words

The kitty food is the perfect size to spell things out. Eric wanted to decorate with Casper's food.Who really enjoyed it though? That would be the vacuum, I mean Owen, who sucked it up so fast, without chewing anything!
